Some of our Director's previous work involved strategic casework to improve disability benefits administration and interpretation. For example he was involved in developing PIP case-law to include a much better interpretation of “safely” than was previously the case. And he also helped a deaf child make positive changes to disability living allowance (DLA) guidance through winning her DLA case as well as getting improvements to PIP guidance for assessors and decision makers. Whilst in the CAB our Director did a Campaign to stop unlawful council tax bailiffs fees.
